Trials & Muster

Trials for both premier boys and girls teams take place in Term 1. The number of teams entered is determined by the number of students registering to play. Musters for recreational grades are held based on numbers with the aim of getting as many students playing football as possible.

Once team selection is finalised, you will be invited to join your child’s team on TeamReach by your team Manager. All information for the season will be put on this TeamReach App.

Dates for 2025 Trials 

The 1^st XI trial dates for girls and boys are:

Girls 1^st XI: Wednesday 12^th and Thursday 20^th February 2025

Boys 1^st XI: Friday 14^th and Friday 21^st February 2025

Other trials will notified from Monday 24th February

Team Lists

Team lists for 2025 will be uploaded in Term 1, 2025.

If a student doesn’t make a side due to lack of numbers to make a complete team, their fees will be reimbursed, however, fees will not be reimbursed to students who don’t make their choice of team in their chosen code or who no longer want to play and who then choose to withdraw.
Once the teams are made up, if a child pulls out, it can cause a lot of administrative work both at school and at the association level and can upset a number of teams where players have to be moved about to reshuffle teams. It can even mean a team has not got enough players to compete in the competition for the season.

Fees 

All players will pay the ‘all other grade’ fees until the 1st  XI teams have been trialed and named.

1st XI Boys: TBC $214 (referee fee & Knock Out Cup included) Pay $105 and if you are selected for the 1st XI a further $109 is required within 7 days of the team being named. There will also be a $100 Tournament deposit to be paid by 1st April

1st XI Girls: TBC $168 (School van fee included) Pay $121 and if you are selected for the 1st XI a further $47 is required within 7 days of the team being named.) There will also be a $100 Tournament deposit to be paid by 1st April

All Other Grades (Boys): TBC $105

All Other Grades (Girls): TBC $121(transport fee included)

Kingsway School has a user pays policy for all sports. This means ALL fees must be paid prior to commencement of competition or play, unless an AP has been arranged with the sports department. Please e-mail [email protected]  if you would like to set up such a payment. 

The football charge includes: 

• College Sport Charge, Referee Fee (1st XI), 
• Kingsway charges: administration fee, Knock Out Cup fee, Transport for Cup Games, Equipment, Uniform & Teacher in Charge of Sport costs. 

Registrations

Registrations for Year 9 – 13 Teams close February 14, 2025. 

*Late registrations may incur a $10 late administration fee.
