1st Senior Teams Information

Senior Team Information:

Our most Senior Boys and Girls teams are ambassadors for the school. On and off field behaviour is expected to be of the highest standard.

Our Senior Basketball top team players wear the school tracksuit or the school jacket /school tracksuit pants to and from games throughout the season.

Due to the leagues in Basketball, whether we enter teams into the Premier competitions or Senior A/B leagues will depend on the current teams.

NB: Premier teams are competitive sides and players should not expect equal playing time.

Northern Cup

Senior team players may be invited to attend Auckland Tournament 3 day Cup which commences Week 7, Term 3. This is not a NZSSSC run tournament.

The cost per student is expected to be in the region $450.00 – $650.00.

Please note, it is a privilege, not a right to attend these tournament/events and eligibility to attend will be evaluated throughout the season. The school has the right to withdraw any team or players up to and including tournament week.

A $100.00 none refundable deposit is required per student as soon as the teams are named. The deposit is to be paid into the school sports bank account 12-3084-0192348-52.

1st XI Team Information:

Boys and Girls 1^st XI players are ambassadors for the school. On and off field behaviour is expected to be of the highest standard.

All premier players wear the school tracksuit or the school jacket /school tracksuit pants to and from games throughout the season.

Premier teams are competitive sides. Players should not expect equal playing time.

Tournament

Premier team players may be invited to attend Winter Tournament Week which commences Week 7, Term 3.

The cost per student is expected to be in the region $750.00 – $1000.00.

Please note, it is a privilege, not a right to attend tournament and eligibility to attend will be evaluated throughout the season. The school has the right to withdraw any team or players up to and including tournament week.

Senior 1 Team Information:
Senior 1st teams are expected to wear the school tracksuit or the school jacket/school tracksuit pants to and from games throughout the season and for tournament week in September. All senior 1st teams play top team on the day. There is no equal playing time if playing in the senior top team.

Senior 1 Tournament

Senior 1st team players are expected to attend the tournament which commences Sunday 30th August – Friday 4th Septemeber 2026.  The cost per student is likely be between $850 – $1000.

A $100.00 deposit is required per student. The deposit is to be paid on the school website under ‘tournament’ by the beginning of May.

Please note, it is a privilege, not a right to attend tournament and Senior 1 teams/players will be evaluated throughout the season. The school has the right to withdraw any team or players up to and including tournament week.
