North Harbour Tennis Term 1
Years 9–13 Tennis Players
We’re excited to announce that KingsWay School will be entering teams in the North Harbour College Tennis Competition this Term 1! This competition will run on Monday afternoons from 9 February – 16 March, with matches hosted at various school and local venues across North Harbour.
We’re holding tennis trials: Thursday, 5 February (after school) at the COLA – Senior School
Trials will be run with the support of Full Motion Tennis, and they’re open to all Years 9–13 students interested in representing KingsWay in the competition.

Whether you’re a seasoned club player or new to competitive tennis, this is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, represent your school, and have fun with mates on the court. Let’s make our first season a smashing success!
(Please note: You do not have to do competive tennis coaching to enter this competition)
Competitive Tennis Coaching Term 1
Years 5–13 Tennis Players
Full Motion Sports and Coach Carlos will offer training in KingsWay to look to build our Tennis programme.

– Coach Carlos will lead all tennis training. He is an ITF Level 2-certified coach with over 32 years of
experience.
Day: Friday mornings
Senior Time: 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM (1.5 Hours)
Primary Students Time: 7.30AM – 8.30AM (1 hour) Year 5 & 6 only
Small Group Training:
Maximum of 8 students per group to ensure good-quality coaching.
Groups will be formed based on skill levels, not age or gender, for more tailored instruction.
Kingsway Primary Tennis Coaching
Fun and professional tennis coaching for primary students, led by Head Coach Carlos Gonzalez (ITF Level 2, ITF Level 3 Stage 1).
We help children develop strong fundamentals, improve fitness, and build confidence — whether they are beginners or already playing. This is for primary students wanting to develop tennis even if you are brand new!
When: Saturday mornings
Location: Middle & Senior School Tennis Courts
Fees:
-$30 (1 hour, recommended for ages 6–9)
-$37 (1.5 hours, recommended for ages 9+)
