Emerging Sports
Emerging sports consist of individual, composite or growing sports withing our school.
Individual sports – Individual sports are those that students compete/are coached individual (or sometimes in small teams). Examples of individual sports KingsWay has offered previously include sailing, table tennis, mountain biking, motocross, running club, climbing. If you have an individual sport that is not listed, feel free to approach the CDC so see what help we can offer.
Composite – Composite teams are teams that are combined with another school. This occurs when we don’t have enough players to form a KingsWay team. Examples of composite teams we have previously formed include rugby, cricket, and water polo.
Emerging sports – Emerging sports are those sports growing withing the school but have smaller numbers. This includes sports such as touch rugby, badminton, tennis.
All of the above sports fall under the emerging sports banner. Please visit the sports page appropriate to the sport you are looking for otherwise please email the below CDC’s for any questions.
