Summer Footy
Summer Footy is for school friends to enjoy playing football in a social, FUN environment. It is an excellent opportunity for inexperienced players to give football a go. All games are played in the evenings at the Hibiscus Coast Football Club (164 Brightside Road, Stanmore Bay). This year, there are TWO options to sign up to:
- MIXED SUMMER FOOTY (Yrs 1-13) – MIXED teams of boys and girls played on a MONDAY evenings
- GIRLS ONLY SUMMER FOOTY (Yrs 1-13) – GIRLS ONLY teams played on TUESDAY evenings
NOTE: Registrations for both the options above are CLOSED.
The Mixed Summer Footy season is from Monday, 21st October to 17th December 2024, at Stanmore Bay Park. Teams are a mixture of either boys and girls, or boys only (if no girls have registered in that year level).
There MUST be a parent volunteer for each team who is willing to be the point of contact with the club and other parents on the team for game fixtures and notices.

For the first time ever, GIRLS ONLY Summer Footy is happening!
The Hibiscus Coast Football Club are excited to invite girls-only teams from Years 1 – 13 to sign up to their Girls Only Summer Football.
Girl’s Summer Footy at Hibiscus Coast FC is about getting girls to enjoy playing football in a social, fun, and safe environment. Scores are not recorded, and there are no playoffs!
This format encourages girls to try new things, have fun with their friends, and develop real enjoyment from playing football. The aim is to foster confidence and resilience in girls with a mission to prioritise a positive growth mindset over winning.
✅ We want them to make mistakes so that they learn from them and embrace the spirit of trying.
✅ We want them to celebrate when they score and congratulate the other team if they score too.
✅ We want them to enjoy it – they might ‘want’ to win, but they don’t ‘need to’ to have fun.
There are only six places available per combined year group (e.g. Year 7 -8 age group), so don’t delay signing up so that we can get our teams together!
