Mouthguards
Message from Stanmore Bay Leisure Centre – All Auckland Council facilities running children’s basketball/miniball are moving to align with Basketball New Zealand rulings regarding the use of mouthguards being worn by all players under 19 years old.
We are making mouthguards compulsory from Term 2 2023.
We have sourced a supplier who will supply these to our Centres for a minimal cost.
The cost will be confirmed asap.
Contact the Leisure Centre should you want to purchase one from there. Otherwise you can purchase from The Warehouse, Pharmacies or Sports Shops. Mouthguards need to moulded before the first use, so please do this at least a day before your child’s first game.
