Table Tennis

Term 3, 2024

Table Tennis will be from 3.30pm – 5pm on Thursdays from Term 3 starting Thursday 25th July – Thursday  26th September. (No Table Tennis on 12th November due to Coach and TIC not being available). Please come along to the Senior Campus gym on Thursday afternoon

Cost:  Term 3- $20 Please transfer the money into sports account 12-3084-0192348-52 when registering.

The evening will be run by parents and overseen by the Sports Dept.

Year 4 & Year 5 parents must stay on the premises with their child if you sign them up.

Term 3  Competition Y4-Y8

Primary & Intermediate Schools  Table Tennis Team Competition  will be played at: North Harbour Table Tennis Association, 5a Akoranga Drive, Northcote,  (behind the Y.M.C.A.)
On: Wednesday 5.00p.m. – 7.00p.m.
Teams are made up of 3 players.

OFFICIALS

• Players are required to umpire their allocated games as stated on the results sheet.

ELIGIBILITY

• All players must be under 14 as of 1 January 2024.
• All players must be students at the school they are representing.

TIME OF GAMES

• All matches commence at 5 p.m., and all contests should be concluded by 7 p.m. (depending on the number of total registrations).

RULES

• Players should bring their own bats and wear non-marking sport shoes.

Term 2, 2024
Starting: Thursday, May 2nd (Week 1) to Thursday, July 4th (Week 10). There will be no play on Anzac Day, April 25th.
Time: 5.30pm – 6.30pm. Please help put tables away at the end of the night before leaving.

Dates: 9 May – 5 July
Venues: 8 Colway Place, Wairau Valley
Grades: A1, A Reserve, B1, B2 C, D and Girls Grade (dependant on entries)
Training: Thursday 5.30pm – 6.30pm
Game Day & Times Thursday 7.00 – 9.00pm (C, D, B2 and Girls Grades)
Friday 7.00 – 9.00pm (A1, A Reserve and B1 Grades)

No play 30 & 31 May due to King’s Birthday weekend

Rules
All teams are to consist of a minimum of 3 players and can have either all male, all female or mixed. In each contest three players will play two singles each,
and two players from each team will combine to play one doubles. All teams must supply their own balls
