Middle School (Year 7 & 8) Term 3
In Term 3, 2021 there is a 6 week social league for the Year 7 & 8 students, run at Orewa College on a Friday afternoon from 4pm. This is purely a social competition so get together with your friends and form a team. The teams are 4 aside played on a badminton court with up to 2 subs. (Maximum 6 players)
Teams can be mixed year or gender. e.g a Y7 & 8 boys team will play in the Y8 boys grade. A mixed Y8 girls and boys team will play in the Y8 boys grade.
Starting date: Friday August 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and September 17th and 24th.
Parents are responsible for getting players to and from Orewa College
The goal for these games are to introduce students to volleyball, have fun in a social environment and compete against other teams. Format and length of games will depend on the number of entries.
Costs: $20 per person.
Uniform: PE gear and sport shoes
Registrations close : Thursday 8th July (extended). After this date the registrations will be closed.
ALL TEAMS HAVE BEEN MADE AND ENTERED WITH OREWA COLLEGE. NO FURTHER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Training is on Friday lunchtime for Y9-Y10 North Harbour teams during term 3 in the Event Centre. Once the details are available from College Sport further training will begin Friday 3.30pm – 4.30pm.
Each North Harbour team needs a manager to drive the team to their games in the school van or teams arrange car pooling amongst themselves.
Please note that we are unable to enter any team that does not have a manager.

Refunds: Students will not be permitted to be placed in a team unless they have registered and paid their deposit first. If a student doesn’t make a side due to lack of numbers to make a complete team, their fees will be reimbursed, however, fees will not be reimbursed to students who don’t make their choice of team in their chosen code and who then choose to withdraw.
There are two options to make payment for your child’s sport:

Pay full fees on registration
Set up an automatic payment & pay weekly or fortnightly. You will need to enter the details of your AP during the registration process. Fees must be fully paid by the end of March. To do this, first set up an automatic payment with your bank to pay the full sports fee amount less the $50.00 deposit, into the sport bank account 12-3084-0192348-52 before registering your child for this sport via the school website. The first payment of your AP must be made within two weeks of registration. Once you have set up your AP with your bank, please register your child via the school website using the “Automatic Payment $50.00 deposit” option under your chosen sport.
Kingsway School has a user pays policy for all sports. This means ALL fees must be paid prior to commencement of competition or play, unless an AP has been arranged with the sports department. NH Volleyball Fees, Administration fee, Equipment, Uniform, van hire, Teacher in Charge of Sport costs.
Sport registrations and payments can now be done online using our secure online trading system. This is the same online shop used for Tuckshop orders, uniform purchases and other school payments that come up through the year. Once you have registered your children, the system will remember your details for further purchases. If you have children in both the Primary and Middle/Senior Schools, all details for your children will appear on the same account in the future.
