Summer Football
Summer Football
Summer Football takes place on Monday afternoons at the Hibiscus Coast Football Club. All teams are school-based (not club). All games are played at Stanmore Bay Park – 164 Brightside Road.
ALL PLAYERS must wear sports shoes or boots with moulded soles and NO metal sprigs.
Shin pads are compulsory. NO SHINPADS NO PLAY.
PE uniform is to be worn by all players.
Years 1 and 2 must wear a KingsWay School PE top and any dark-coloured shorts (preferably navy blue or black).
No coaching is given for Summer Football teams.
If a parent or senior student would like to run a training session and the team would like to train, this can be arranged through the TIC of Summer Football: louise.gray@kingsway.school.nz
Look out for details of start dates and registration dates advertised in Term 3.
Teacher In Charge (TIC)

- The games are 5 a-side with a maximum of 8 players per team
- Combined Year 0-2 or Year 3-4.
- Mixed boys and girls.
- Mondays 4 – 5 pm.
- There will be two games of 20 mins each.
- Games are 7 a-side with a maximum of 10 players per team.
- Teams of boys, mixed boys and girls and teams of all girls.
- Mondays 5 – 6 pm for Years 5 – 8
- Mondays 6 – 7 pm for Years 9 – 13
- There will be two games of 20 minutes each.
2024 fees are to be confirmed.
The Summer Football charge includes Football club fees, administration fees and the Teacher In Charge (TIC) costs.
All late registrations/late payments and manual registration may incur an administration fee.
All registrations need to be made through our online school shop – Kindo.

Refunds:
Students will not be permitted to be placed in a team unless they have registered and paid or paid their deposit & started making AP payments first.
If a student does not make a side due to a lack of numbers to make a complete team, their fees will be reimbursed. However, fees will not be reimbursed to students who don’t make their choice of the team in their chosen code or who no longer want to play and who then choose to withdraw. Once the teams are made up, if a child pulls out it can leave a team short, cause players to be swapped about in teams and a lot of work administratively both at school and at the association level.
