Middle Years
KingsWay School specifically caters for students in their emerging adolescent years, known as, ‘The Middle Years’. Young people between the ages of 10-15 years old experience significant growth in their social, physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual development. We nurture our students with Christ centered programmes that are specifically designed for the various stages during this time of their lives.
Our Middle Years include:
Middle School – Year 7 to Year 9
Junior Secondary – Year 10
Welcome
We believe that a young person’s ‘Middle Years’ are crucial, as they experience a time of rapid growth and development. This belief is supported by research that shows the different needs early adolescent students have when compared to primary and secondary students.
Our Middle School (Year 7-9) and Junior Secondary School (Year 10) ensure our students are well supported in age-appropriate ways as they progress through these Middle Years. Our broad curriculum emphasises the importance of Literacy and Numeracy along with a wide range of subjects including specialist subjects taught by specialist teachers. As students progress through each year, they become more independent and are prepared for the following year ahead.
