Some of our Year 7 and 8s were lucky enough to attend one of the World Cup Softball games at North Harbour Softball grounds in Albany. We were honoured to have some of our students asked to open the USA v Cuba match and Australia v Canada game on the adjoining diamond.

Our school was so good at cheering for the USA Softball team that the team management sent up a USA flag and some small flags for the students to wave. The team has since signed the flag which we get to keep as memorabilia.
