Our Christian faith permeates our learning through using a Biblical Worldview which is outworked through our principles, values and key competencies. Our love for God pervades the learning experience both in an integrated way and explicitly with examples including daily devotions and worship assemblies.
Middle School students engage in a learning design that highlights the importance of Literacy and Numeracy while also developing knowledge, skills and understanding in a varied and broad curriculum. We strive to deliver a Christ centred, relevant and engaging curriculum experience for our learners that caters for each of their needs. Students are actively involved in inquiries, goal setting, self-assessing and presenting their learning to others in a variety of ways.
We are grateful to have specialist teachers and facilities which enable such a wide range of learning options, giving us the ability to further integrate our curriculum experience.
We ensure that our learners have a range of opportunities in order for them to develop a range of dispositions and to learn more about the way that they have been designed. Our philosophy is that students in Year 7-9 need a focus on literacy and numeracy skills and that they should be exposed to a wide range of subjects. Links are made between subject areas in an integrated approach. Our students gain a diverse learning experience in their formative years and pathways for later in their education.
We provide Home Learning to reinforce concepts being learnt at school and to support student development of study habits.
Year 7 and 8 students have curriculum areas that span the year and other subjects that are on a rotational basis.
Students have two of the subjects are a time and will have had each of these over the course of a year.
Digital Technology – Computational Thinking
Health and Well Being
Project Based Learning
Hospitality – Year 7
Hard Materials Technology – Year 8
Health and Well Being
Year 9 students choose four option subjects. Each subject area is offered on a semester basis. Students complete two options in semester one and two in semester two. Although every effort will be made to ensure that as many as possible of the students’ preferences are met, due to a restriction on class sizes, students will not necessarily be placed into their top four option preferences.
With the exception of Spanish, not taking an option subject in Year 9 does not exclude your child from taking it in the future.
Design and Visual Communication
Hard Materials Technology
Please read the Year 9 Option Subjects information to assist you and your child in selecting their option subjects for 2024.
For subject selection, please access the KAMAR Portal.

Thank you to all who attended a wonderful evening of celebration on Monday night as our Year 6 class of 2023 graduated from Primary School. It was such a special event that honoured the hard work of both students and parents and gave glory to God. Matt 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth".
