The APO Discovery Concert with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra was an incredible experience for our Music students. Many had never seen an orchestra perform live or have been inside the Auckland Town Hall. The students were treated to a variety of pieces from Ravel’s ‘Bolero’ to Bernstein’s ‘Westside Story’ and finished with a powerful choral and haka piece. Everyone was riveted and had a wonderful learning and life experience.
