Dear Parents and Caregivers

Thank you to all parents and students for the kind wishes that Mrs Coles has received over the past week. As you can imagine, this is going to be a long road for the Coles’ family. Mr Chris Lee, a very experienced Maths teacher, will be teaching Mrs Coles classes in her absence.

Leighton’s funeral will be at Harbourside Church (48 Esmonde Rd, Takapuna) at 2pm on Wednesday, 1 March.

Transport will be available for Senior Students who wish to attend the funeral. Please reply to: rachel.wilding@kingsway.school.nz
before 9am Wednesday if you want to book a seat for your student.
The bus will depart from Longmore Lane (normal bus bay) at 1pm Wednesday and return by 5:30pm.

To allow Senior School staff and some students to attend the funeral, the Senior School will be closed for instruction from 1pm on Wednesday. Senior students are free to leave the site by the end of lunch or go to the library where supervision will be available until the close of the school day. No Senior School students should linger on the school site after lunch. Please note that it is the responsibility of parents to arrange transport to the funeral.
