Today is KingsWay’s Foundation Day, where we celebrate 36 years since the first teachers and students began our KingsWay journey. To honour this, we invited John Burgess (second Principal of KingsWay School) to share his part of this journey in a ‘Principal’s Couch’ video that was played to all the students during devotions. We honoured Vaughan Darby for his longevity in service to KingsWay School by commissioning the tree planting space with a plaque honouring him. This was unveiled this morning at the Junior Campus. As well as this, we honoured Sue Collett, who has faithfully served on the PTA for 24 years. Sue cut the KingsWay School birthday cake, and all staff at both campuses enjoyed a morning tea. Many thanks to Paula Daniel for the making and decorating of these birthday cakes.
