Mr George Debenham is one of our Year 7 teachers. We were very excited when his NZ representative football shirt arrived this week to be added to the collection of shirts in the Events Centre foyer. Mr Debenham played for the New Zealand Under 20’s Football Team in 2016. He went to Vanuatu in September of 2016 to represent New Zealand against other Pacific Island teams in the Oceania World Cup Championship, where the winners and runners-up qualified for the Under 20 World Cup. He made 3 caps against Tahiti, New Caledonia and Solomon Islands.
