Middle School Events & Trips

The Year 8 Sports Camp is a five-day camp that involves coaching, inter-school competition and relationship building for students who show particular skill in a range of sports. There are limited spaces available and students apply to be selected for this camp.

Camp Dates: 23 -27 September 2024

Venue: Totara Springs Christian Centre, Matamata

Applications: open on Friday, 15 March and close on Sunday, 24 March 2024

Camp information and the application form will be published in the Weekly Middle School Newsletters leading up to these dates.

Year 9 students have the opportunity to attend the annual Year 9 camp at Finlay Park. The camp provides students with a memorable, challenging experience and is a fitting way to end their time in Middle School.

Dates: Tuesday, 19 November – Friday, 22 November 2024

Venue: Finlay Park Adventure Camp (indoor sleeping facilities and all meals provided).

On Purpose Day

A whole day event which combines goal setting, friendship building and spiritual focusing.
Year 7-8 students: Carey Christian Camp
Year 9 & 13 students: KingsWay School

Relationship Evenings

These evenings are offered as part of the Health programme and assist parents in educating students in issues relating to the physical and emotional changes of the emerging adolescent.
Year 7, 8 and 9 students/parents – each Year level will be on a different evening.
