In Week 3 of Term 2, we took a group of 35 students down to Totara Springs to compete at the annual Junior High Sports Camp.
We had an incredible week, witnessing great sportsmanship, team spirit, and an exceptional level of skill amongst the students. The overall competition was tight, but we managed to come away with 4th place, and a range of wins including field hockey, tennis, darts, boys’ table tennis, cross country and shooting. We also came 2nd in Longball, Caged Soccer, Girls indoor Hockey, Pickleball, Rock Climbing and the Team Triathlon.
This was also the first year that KingsWay came away with the top Sportsmanship Award. We were so proud of our students and grateful to see the values and character of our school being upheld both on and off the field.
Once again, a massive thank you to everyone who made this camp possible!
