‘The Prodigal’

Our Year 11 Dance students embraced creativity and the beauty of nature to create their original, self-choreographed piece, The Prodigal.

Concept and description:

“Our dance communicates the journey of repentance, redemption, and God’s unfailing love through movement inspired by Orewa Beach. The shoreline, tide, and horizon symbolise the tension of being lost and found, God’s grace washing over us, and the hope and freedom that come from returning to Him.”

We would like to acknowledge these students for their creativity and dedication in bringing this piece to life.

Special thanks to Ethan Du Toit (Year 12) for his excellent filming and editing.
