Our Year 1’s had such an exciting and hands-on learning experience at Butterfly Creek!

They loved exploring the dinosaur exhibits, walking through the butterfly house, and visiting the farm animals. During the wētā talk, students discovered some fun and basic facts about wētās and had the chance to see one up close. The children were especially excited to watch the crocodile being fed during the crocodile encounter and learned interesting facts about crocodiles and their behaviour.

It was a wonderful day filled with curiosity, discovery, and memorable learning experiences outside of the classroom.
