Kia ora, my name is Elena-Jin Pearce, and it is a privilege to serve on the Board as the Student Representative.
I have been at KingsWay since Year 8, and over the past five years I have grown to deeply value the community and special character of the school. Christian education has been a significant part of my life since Year 1, and it was through my parents’ passion to see my siblings and me raised in a Christ-centred environment that my family relocated from Wellington to Auckland so that we could attend KingsWay. Through these experiences, I have come to recognise just how special our school is and how the student learning experience is elevated across all areas: academic, personal, and spiritual.
As Student Representative, I am passionate about ensuring that student voice is recognised and considered in key decision-making regarding the direction and future of our school. I am excited to give back to a community that has invested so much into my growth and development.
Outside of school, I enjoy serving with children and regularly volunteer in the kids’ ministry at LIFE North, as well as at a Christian children’s camp.
I am honoured to bring the student perspective to the Board, and look forward to all that God has in store for our school in 2026!
