We are proud to celebrate former KingsWay student Elri Bosman, who recently represented Team New Zealand at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA), often called the Talent Olympics. Held annually, this year in Las Vegas, WCOPA brings together elite performers from over 70 countries to compete across singing, dancing, acting and variety, with only the top invited talent from each country taking part.

Elri didn’t just compete — she dominated, coming home with an incredible haul:

• Senior Vocal Rock Division Champion (Ages 16–30+)

• 2 Gold Medals – Variety (18–24) and Rock (18–24)

• 1 Silver Medal – Original Works

• 2 Bronze Medals – Gospel and Open

On top of her medals, Elri was awarded a 4-year scholarship to the New York Film Academy (NYFA), complete with an official NYFA callback, and has since been offered work with three different record labels.
We are beyond proud of Elri and everything she’s achieved on the world stage.
