36 of our Year 8’s have been at Totara Springs for Sports Camp this week.
Despite challenging weather conditions throughout the week, our students showed incredible determination, resilience, and team spirit, competing wholeheartedly in every event. Their efforts were rewarded with an outstanding 4th-place overall finish and, most notably, the prestigious Sportsmanship Award. We are extremely proud of the example they set for the other schools through their encouragement, respect, and positive attitude.
Our students achieved first place in:
-
Netball
-
Bowls
-
Caged Soccer
-
Boys’ Indoor Soccer
-
Spikeball
-
Hole-in-One Golf
-
Swimming
They were also runners-up in:
-
Hockey
-
Girls’ Indoor Hockey
-
Cross Country
-
Archery
These results reflect not only the talent of our students but also their commitment, perseverance, and teamwork throughout the week.
The camp would not have been possible without the support of our incredible parent helpers, Jaimee Bond, Aimee Van Eden, and Conrad Prinsloo, who generously gave their time and energy to support the team. We were also blessed to have Mr Wesley join us for the week, along with two dedicated Year 12 student volunteers, Durandt Potgieter and Josh Biri. Their enthusiasm, leadership, and willingness to serve played a significant role in making the camp such a success.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this memorable week. Congratulations to all our students on their remarkable achievements and for representing KingsWay School with such excellence and integrity. 🏆👏
