KingsWay School practiced their Lock Down procedure at 11.10am this morning.
Notifications were sent to the parent body via the KingsWay School App and KingsWay Facebook page.
In a genuine incident, should you hear of a lock down or evacuation at the school, please do not try to phone the school or attempt to collect your children until you have clearly heard that it is safe to do so.

Thank you for your support.

Recently, the L2 and L3 Media Studies students had the opportunity to attend the Docs4Schools film festival in Auckland to watch the feature length documentary, Set in Stone that tells the story of the restoration of a World War I monument which stands in the Whanganui’s Pakaitore gardens. This monument is significant because, unlike others, it is the statue of a known Maori soldier, Herewini Whakarua. The students had the opportunity to benefit from a Q&A session with the filmmaker, Kevin Double, afterwards and learn some important tips about editing a documentary.
