The prayer meeting held at the Te Herenga Waka Marae in Silverdale on Tuesday morning, 22 August, was a great success. Thank you to the parents and staff who attended. What a wonderful way to start the day!

We will hold another prayer meeting in two weeks on Tuesday, 5 September, starting once again at 6am.

The purpose of this time is to join with Marae regulars to seek God for his direction on how we can strengthen our connection with our local Maori community. We will also pray into how we can glorify God with our teaching of Maori content at school.

Congratulations to Tristan van Schalkwyk and Sam Livingston who have been selected by the NZ Rugby Union to be student referees for the National Finals. Sam and Tristan recently completed a High School Referee Training course run by Harbours Referees Manager Mr Paul Greenstreet. Their course concluded with refereeing our local Primary/Intermediate Rippa and Tackle Interschool Tournament days.
If anyone is interested in joining Mr Greenstreets High School Referee Training, you may register by emailing
