The following events are an opportunity for the Auckland Christian Schools to come together for a day of fun, fellowship & competitive sporting competition. Each event is organised by a different school on an annual basis. The events for 2017 are involving Years 3-9 students:

ACS Touch Rugby - Tuesday 14th March 2017 (saver day 16th March 2017) @ Moires Park, Massey 

ACS Netball - Tuesday 23rd May 2017 (saver day 26th May) @ Netball North Harbour and Onewa Arena.

ACS Soccer - Tuesday 20th June 2017 (saver day 22nd June 2017)@ Keith Hay Park, Mount Roskill -Host School - Elim.

ACS Cross Country - Tuesday 26th September 2016 (saver day 28th September 2017) @ Mt Albert Domain - Host School - Hebron.

Your child will receive an invitation from the school.

Please note: Teams will only be invited to participate in these sports days if the Coach or Manager from the team is able to attend the day as well as a suitable official.

Cancellations: Cancellation due to bad weather will be made on the day. If it is very wet students are to arrive at school in their uniform as per normal school day accompanied by their sporting gear.

All students need to be registered online: by the date on your invitation e-mail. If your child is not registered by the date stated on your information e-mail their place will be offered to another student.

ACS Football - Details for 2017

Venue Keith Hay Park, Arundel Street, Mt Roskill
Time: Depart KingsWay Junior Campus 8.30 am return by 3pm
Meet: Primary & Middle school students meet Junior Campus (Primary) Gym BY 8.20am
Cost: $9 (Please note the fee applies whether or not you are on the bus)
Transport: Bus/ School van

Please note: Teams are not the same as school teams due to the grade restrictions at ACS.

If the day is wet, we will put the cancellation on the school web site by 7.45am. If unsure, students are to arrive at school in their uniform as per normal school day, accompanied by their sporting gear.

All Primary players to be in PE gear (except goal keeper – different top to team). All Middle School players to either be in PE gear or football uniform.
- Suitable football footwear e.g. boots. (no bare feet). Priamry can have trainers if no boots.
- Shin guards are compulsory at Intermediate and Senior levels. They are not compulsory in Primary grades but they are strongly advised.
- Two water bottle, a healthy & energy filled lunch and snacks!

School tracksuit is preferred for Middle school players. If you havent got one please borrow one. NO multicolored mufti clothes allowed. School jacket or jumper can be worn.

All games will be 20 minutes in length. Half time will be 2 minutes in length after 9 minutes of play. Games will begin on the hour and half hour. This will allow 10mins for coaches to debrief with their teams in between games and for players to have some sustenance before their next game and find their next field. For this reason, there may not be a specific lunchtime.

Primary teams will be 8 a-side with a maximum of 3 subs. Intermediate teams will be 11 aside with maximum of 5 subs.

For all games standard football rules apply. The only exception is that for Primary teams, there are no offsides. All games and year levels may have rolling substitutions during a break in the play.
