KingsWay School was founded to work in partnership with Christian parents to fulfil their responsibility for the education of their children. The school aims to achieve this by providing a Christ-centred learning environment based on Biblical truth and practice as recognised by adherents of the evangelical Christian faith.
KingsWay School is a co-educational, non-denominational Christian school of around 1350 students from New Entrants through to Year 13. The school is located in the beautiful Hibiscus Coast, approximately 30 minutes from the Auckland CBD. The Middle and Senior Schools are situated on the same campus, on 10 acres of well-resourced facilities. The Primary School is situated on a separate Junior campus within easy walking distance of the Senior Campus and is well renowned for being an innovative, modern 21st Century learning environment.
Each school follows a Christian special character, which pervades all aspects of the programme, while creating their own distinctive character relative to the developmental age group of the students. All staff at KingsWay are committed Christians who are devoted to outworking the mission statement of the school.
At KingsWay School we endeavour to offer an educational programme that is innovative, reflecting best practice and catering for a broad academic range. We seek to foster an attitude of responsible stewardship of the gifts and abilities God has bestowed upon each one in our community. The vision for KingsWay graduates is that they may be confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong learners who embody the Christian special character of the school.
KingsWay School strives to provide our students with a stimulating and safe environment in order for meaningful learning to take place. Most importantly we insist on appointing quality, committed, enthusiastic and talented Christian teachers who are passionate about educating young people. We value our staff and are committed to equipping our educators to engage your child in a learning journey that is exciting, authentic and importantly, Christ centred.
KingsWay School has established a reputation for producing outstanding academic results and providing a dynamic educational foundation for life. At Kingsway School we endeavour to offer an educational programme that is innovative, reflecting best practice and catering for a broad academic range. We aim to empower students to exercise their talents responsibly by leading a fulfilling life as disciples of Jesus Christ and making an active contribution as servant leaders towards social justice and the common good.
We are excited to offer a learning programme to your son or daughter that is founded on the understanding that every child has the opportunity to achieve and contribute. We value parent partnership and encourage parents and caregivers to become an integral part of our school community and so add to the development of their child’s talents.
We believe that the school’s purpose for existing is to honour, value and support all the children in our care. We have committed to adding value to each child through the provision of programmes that are designed to support, nurture and enrich their lives. Kingsway School strives to open new doors for each child by acknowledging and encouraging personal interests, talents and needs.
The Biblical worldview, which underpin KingsWay’s philosophy and practice of education are detailed in the KingsWay School Curriculum document. It is expected that all members of the school community will demonstrate commitment to these Biblical beliefs and be role models of these. These Biblical beliefs encompass all aspects of the school and permeate the KingsWay School curriculum, which filters the National New Zealand Curriculum through a biblical worldview lens.
All visitors are warmly welcome to visit KingsWay School to appreciate the dynamic and caring culture that is so much a part of our wonderful school. Should you wish to have a school tour, please contact our Enrolment Officer by email at
